asuming you have xp go to control panel and click add and remove programs find norton and click remove. it should work in vista too

To uninstall norton, type in this web address. tinyurl.com/y7qe88 click on RUN when the box pops up. This uninstall tool will remove norton from your computer. Removing from add/remove programs does not remove all of norton.
sounds to me like your not keeping your norton up to date. did you let norton lapse? if its up to date you shouldn't have any problems. you know you can always disable norton and then download adobe.
