It depends on the keygen or crack, there are two possibilities:

1. Open your Norton Anti virus and search for the option "Register", Run the Keygen and this will show you an user name and a serial number, then you should copy and paste the information in the required fields. (User name %26gt; User name, Serial Number %26gt; Serial Number), it is recommended that you do this without being connected to the Internet, but maybe the Anti virus ask you for a connection, try first without connection.

2. Some keygens needs to be activated inside the Program folder in C:\Program Files, so you must copy the keygen in the next directory C:\Program Files\Norton Antivirus, then run the keygen and that's all.

Or, you can get a free anti virus from http://www.avast.com/ Avast Antivirus 4Home Edition is quite good enough.
It's illegal.

i used it back in 2005..here we go :

1) install norton antivirus 2005 normaly

2) disconnect from the internet

3) when they ask u for the activation code click next

4) they will say u have to b connectd to the internet but just keep clicking next

5)they will offer to register by phone...so click register by phone

6) they will give u a code copy paste in the keygen

7) click unlock...they will give u a code to write in order to register by phone

8) ur done let me know if u did it right
