Internet Security Help!?

Alright, so I'm doing this again, because I was a little confused the first time and need some more advice.

I have an HP computer, its about 2 or 3 years old (shut up =)

but I love it to death.

It came with Norton Internet Security AntiVirus 2005, and I guess it's been working okay.

I've heard a lot of people complain about Norton, and I'm looking into buying new software.

So what should I get?

I need the spyware, the virus, the spam and all protection.

I use Firefox ALL THE TIME!

I have AIM.

I want something easy, fast, helpful, and at a suitable price.

So, what should I get?

There is no such product as Norton Internet Security AntiVirus.

There is Norton Anti-Virus (NAV) which is, as the name says, ONLY an anti-virus. And there is Norton Internet Security (NIS) which is a complete suite of needed security apps. Including an anti-virus, a firewall, an anti-spyware and and anti spam. There is a huge difference between NAV and NIS.

These days you need more than just a virus protection. Only about 15% of all malware is viruses. The rest is worms, trojans, phishing schemes, spyware, etc.

Here's some ideas to "roll ya own" Internet Security Suite for free. Free is always the best.
