Purchased a Norton Antiirus in 2005 but i installed it on 3pc's and now it doesnt let me suse i

even tho i uninstalled it on all the computers i dnt ahve it running on any computer as of now but now i want to use it ebcuase my mcafee antivirus sucks like hell and doesnt pick anything up....so how cna i make it work i ahve the product key adn everything.....it tells me i have aproblem with my product key but i dont need help

I think you just cost yourself the whole Norton software. The problem is that the norton virus software picks up that the product key was used numerous times and even though you are just using it on three pcs of your own - it reads it as you are passing the software along to friends and now everyone is getting it for free. it may never work again. i would try uninstalling from every single computer. then reinstall it to the computer you want it on. try the product key again. if it still doesnt work - i would contact norton at customer support explain your problem and they should be able to help you. http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/home_ho...
