Virus Protection?

pkay i have the At%26t virus protectionn

but I was wonderin if i take it off and put the norton antivirus but the problem is its version 2005 so is it posible 2 get upgraded like downland the new version and wouldnt mess up my computer?

One - I would not go with norton, they are the worst at protection and huge resource hogs.

Two - that version is almost 3 years old, Its so out of date that it wouldnt even be worth it (you wouldnt be able to get updates)

Three - there are really good free ones you can use. I use AntiVir and have yet to have a problem :)

Just be sure you completely uninstall the AT%26T virus protection program first.

I have been using Norton AntiVirus for many years and am completely satisfied with it's performance and reliability.

You can upgrade the 2005 version, but if it is not a licensed version that you originally purchased, you may not be able to upgrade it if you don't own the original license. Then, your best option is to purchase a new version. You can get better pricing by downloading a licnesed version directly from Norton web site rather than purchasing a boxed version.
