Boot Issues !!! Computer turns on and then does nothing.?

Hey there! Can you help me? I have a HP Pavilion A1010n. The pc was working slow due to many things running in the back ground so I used the run command to type in msconfig. I shut dow everything except the firewall and antivirus and one or two things that are specifically microsoft related. I rebooted and when the screen comes on it says:

Main Processor: Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.93 GHz (133x22.0)

Memory Testing : + 8192K Shared Memory

Press %26lt;F1%26gt; for Setup

That's it. Nothing else. It will sit like that for 10 minutes and then will shut down completely. I turn the power button back on and it does it again. I don't know how to boot it without the floppy drive (it didn't come with one) and haven't got any other ideas. Will no one save me from my lack of superior knowledge. Thank you for any help you can give.

Here is what you should try as a last maneuvre of desperation (after all the other tricks posted on here fail).

Note--you will lose all information on your computer.

Turn it off. Unplug it. Leave it off for a few minutes.

Plug it back in. Reboot it. Go into BIOS by entering setup (hitting the F1 key). Navigate through the menus and make sure that the bootup order has the CD-ROM (or DVD ROM) drive before the hard drive. Save changes and exit.
