Linksys router page....and Norton?

OK....I still can't get into my linksys WAG54G settings page!!!

I tried everything....but I wanna know if uninstalling Norton antivirus 2005 would solve the issue????

No it wouldnt help.

But all you gotta do is type in the ipaddress of the router onto the browser.

Its usually 192.168.1.1 with the password admin

but in case you have changed it, go to start, go to run, type cmd, and then ipconfig. List the gateway number (THIS IS ON WINDOWS XP)

Go to start, on FIND type cmd, type ipconfig, and record the ip for the gateway (THIS IS FOR WINDOWS VISTA). Then put those numbers into the browser exactly as it shows you ie: 192.168.1.1 and then enter password admin. If it doesnt work, then this could mean that it has been changed. Only thing you got left is to reset the router to factory. Look on the back for the pin hole, stick a needle in it for about 10 seconds then you will be able to configure it.
